1. About us
Singapore Business Council (UAE) (“SBC UAE”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a non-profit organisation established in 1999 and registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. These terms govern your use of this website and your membership of SBC UAE.
2. Membership
- Membership applications are subject to review and approval at SBC UAE’s sole discretion.
- Membership tiers, benefits, and fees are as published on this website from time to time and may be changed by SBC UAE.
- Membership fees are payable by bank transfer as instructed upon approval. Membership is not active until payment is confirmed, except where a tier is designated fee-free.
- SBC UAE reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership, including for non-payment or conduct inconsistent with SBC UAE’s values, with or without notice.
3. Events
- Event registration does not guarantee attendance; capacity is limited and registrations may be placed on a waitlist.
- SBC UAE reserves the right to change, postpone, or cancel events, and is not liable for any costs or losses arising from such changes.
- By attending an SBC UAE event, you consent to being photographed or recorded for SBC UAE’s publicity and social media purposes, unless you notify us otherwise in advance.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate information when applying for membership or registering for events, and not to misuse this website or SBC UAE’s systems.
5. Intellectual property
The SBC UAE name, logo, and website content are the property of SBC UAE and may not be used without permission.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SBC UAE is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your membership, event attendance, or use of this website.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued membership or use of this website constitutes acceptance of the current terms.
